Frequently asked questions about First Way Travel charter bus rentals.

Q. How much deposit is required?
A. A minimum 20% when booking.

Q. When is the final payment due?
A. A final payment is due 2 weeks before departure.

Q.What is the cancellation policy?
A. A cancellation received within 7 days before departure is not refundable.

Q. How soon do I need to book?
A. At least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability.

Q. What if we need a bus for emergency ASAP?
A. If there is transportation available, one can book a bus. We do have a list of bus companies who are usually available 24/7 and always willing to help.

Q. Do I need to tip a bus operator?
A. Driver’s gratuity is not included. Common driver’s gratuity in USA is 10% and is greatly appreciated.

Q. Do I need to book hotel room for bus operator?
A. Yes, for overnight trips. Most hotels provide the room for free when booking for large groups.

Q. Is alcohol or smoking allowed on buses?
A. Smoking is not allowed on buses. Alcohol is allowed with prior permission (in Canada alcohol is not allowed).The client is responsible for any damages to the bus committed by his/her party during service, either willfully or accidentally.

Q. Do I need to pay for toll and parking?
A. Yes

Q. What if the bus late or has a mechanical problem?
A. FWT has 24 hours live operator. We never leave you without help. FWT cannot be held responsible for delays or inconvenience due to situation deemed as “Acts of God”.
